Employment Taxes Manager

Our client, a global accountancy firm is looking to recruit an experienced employment taxes specialist into its fast-growing Employment Tax and Benefits practice which advises national and global clients. The practice operates across the whole of the northern region and candidates will either be based in Manchester or be willing to travel frequently to the city. Your role will focus on employer taxation compliance and tax authority review preparation. Additionally, the team assists with validating client internal processes to control risks and costs and helps facilitate remediation and negotiations with tax authorities. The role will be truly varied and involve lots of client contact hence the ability to build strong client relationships is important, as is the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues in other teams. Previous experience in employment taxes is essential but candidates who have hitherto focused on a specific area of pay governance e.g., NMW, will also be considered if they are looking to broaden their skills . In addition, you will possess strong communication skills and have a commercial outlook.
