Our client is a relatively new but ambitious boutique CPA firm based in Richmond, Virginia who specialise in providing tax services to both domestic and international clients.
They have a very successful international tax practice of approximately 10 professionals and due to continued success they now seek a US International tax Senior Associate to come in and help run client engagements and act as a key member of staff within the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a small firm that will offer you a sophistication of work similar or if not better than the Big 4 or other large regional firm.
Your experience will need to include some of the below;
• Preparation and possible review of US Income Tax Returns, Partnership Tax Returns, Estate/Trust Tax Returns, Fiduciary Tax Returns, and Gift Tax Returns
• Expatriate Tax Compliance and consulting, Foreign Trust Compliance and Research
• Experience with U.S. foreign filing requirements (i.e. Forms 8865, 5471, 926, 8621)
• Understanding of Foreign Trusts Distributable Net Income calculations, as well as required filings such as Form 3520, and 3520A.
This is an opportunity for an individual perhaps from a Big 4 or National CPA firm background who wants to leave the world of bureaucracy in such firms and join a firm where they will be challenged on a daily basis and consistently rewarded for the value they bring.
You will have a proven track record of producing high levels of work. You will have 3-5 years US tax experience as it relates to individuals, corporates or partnerships. You will need to be EA, CPA or JD qualified. You will currently be a high achiever in a similar firm within the US. Visa Sponsorship not available for overseas nationals.
