Our client is a leading national accountancy firm in the heart of London. With the need to take a much more entrepreneurial and holistic approach to the growing demands of their clients they seek to bring in individuals into the firm who offer fresh perspectives and dynamic ways of working.
The US/UK tax group within the firm have a client base which is expansive, and ranges from privately engaged individuals to multi-national companies. Their work for these clients is equally wide-ranging, from UK and US tax compliance to more complex tax planning strategies for both employees and the employer.
With such a strong corporate offering they are now looking for a US/UK Tax Partner, Director or experienced Senior Manager, who can lead and further develop their existing private client proposition to US / UK HNW individuals in the UK with their US tax matters.
You will drive business growth and lead the team of 5 professionals in delivering a mixture of compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of clients and actively identifying opportunities to cross sell the Firm’s services. You will begin with an existing portfolio of HNW clients, a high performing team and the support to go out and win new work.
You will work with expatriate HNW individuals in the UK to support them with tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation and management of their complex UK and US tax affairs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and credible senior US/UK tax or US tax only professional to step into a challenging and rewarding role for a firm that is invested in the growth of their US/UK HNW offering. The right candidate will be able to forge a path to Partnership through suitable growth of the client portfolio.
The individual the firm seeks will be technically very strong with UK and or US personal tax knowledge including an understanding of the interaction between the tax law of both jurisdictions. You will be EA, CPA, ATT or CTA qualified. The firm will also consider individuals from a legal education background but who can demonstrate a strong inclination towards tax compliance.
