Tax Director - Pillar 2 - UAE

A well respected and growing International Tax team is looking for a motivated and driven Tax Director to drive their Pillar 2 agenda and go to market strategy, initially in the UAE.

You will join a close knit International Tax & M&A group, with full functioning tax technical support from their Dutch team.

This role is to work with a new Partner and current ITS&M&A Tax Director to actively business development the Sovereign and Large Corporate market. Having a high calibre UK/Lux/Dutch/Swiss or Irish training in complex International Tax advisory project would be of significant benefit and at least a years worth of active Pillar 2 experience.

You will drive tax projects and multifunctional projects including proposal strategy and development, pricing of the engagement, co-ordination with other parties for inputs into the proposal, interaction with clients during the entire proposal process.

This role is for a person looking to move to the region and is prepared to bring SME experience to a market, needing education and support on the impact of Pillar 2 on their Group structure/deal activity and impending reporting requirements.
The team will work as an independent unit to the Core ITS function, hence it has a crystal clear path to Partnership for a driven individual. You will have full support of UAE leadership and there is full intention for this person to driven growth in KSA as part of a regional model.

Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate tax & international tax is business critical
Extensive experience in tax due diligence, tax structuring for acquisitions and divestments, acquisition support work is advantageous.
Recent Pillar 2 experience is essential.
Fluent English – Verbal & written is needed. Arabic skills is a plus but not needed.
