Your key responsibilities as the Senior R&D Tax Manager
In this role, you will take the lead in delivering exceptional R&D tax services, ensuring the highest standard of client outcomes. You will mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional growth and technical expertise. By building and maintaining strong client relationships, you will provide outstanding service, manage expectations, and identify new opportunities. Internally, you will collaborate across the firm to enhance efficiency and drive innovation, while externally, you will play a key role in business development—nurturing existing clients and securing new partnerships. As the main point of contact for daily client interactions, you will ensure seamless communication and service excellence.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in Engineering or Science, demonstrating a solid technical background. Strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a collaborative management approach, are essential. Previous experience in R&D tax and strong relationship management skills are required to effectively support client needs. A passion for emerging technologies across various industries, along with deep technical expertise and a commitment to continuous learning, is key. Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to handle large and complex datasets, is essential. Confidence in engaging with senior technical and finance professionals in one-on-one meetings is also crucial.
