Corporate Tax Manager - Central Manchester - Great Prospects

Our client is a long standing, large, independent firm of accountants. This business has doubled in size in recent years and as a result is looking for a key hire; an experienced corporate tax professional who can help develop the firm’s corporate tax compliance and reporting offering.
In this role you will review corporate tax compliance and you will deal with some more complex cases. You will be the key contact and will answer day to day queries from the general practice team on the more complex areas of tax reporting such as substantial shareholding exemptions, loan relationships, corporate interest restrictions and loss relief.
You’ll be a key interface between clients and HMRC and will be tasked with updating the team and clients on the latest changes to corporate tax legislation. As part of this you will be involved in some marketing, working to directors/partners, but the focus of the role is work delivery rather than business development.
Its likely that you will have a relevant professional qualification (ideal would be ACA and CTA or ICAS and CTA). You will have proven compliance experience but also will have dealt with some advisory work. You may be a manager looking for a career track and promotion prospects, this firm would also consider a more experienced hire who is looking for a more flexible working arrangement and potentially a part time working arrangement. This firm can offer hybrid working and has modern offices in central Manchester.
