An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced professionals to join a leading Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax team. This team is currently seeking skilled individuals to take on the role of Manager or Senior Manager. The role entails playing a crucial part in providing high-quality tax guidance on M&A transactions.

With a prominent presence in the Big 4 global M&A network, the M&A Tax team is the largest specialised group, boasting over 130 partners and staff. The team's reach extends across diverse sectors, from Private Equity Houses to Public Sector clients, facilitating international transactions across various territories.

Working in close collaboration with the extensive M&A network, broader Tax and Deals divisions, as well as esteemed Investment banks and Law firms, the team delivers strategic solutions and expert tax counsel on intricate and often high-profile deals.

The M&A Tax team consists of sub-teams specialising in Funds, Management, Stamp Taxes, Sale and Purchase Agreements, Transfer Pricing, Global Operating Model Advisory, and VAT. These specialised teams collaborate harmoniously, each contributing to the comprehensive picture of every deal and transaction.

Key responsibilities of the role include conducting thorough Tax Due Diligence reviews, offering strategic Tax Structuring advice, utilizing Tax Modelling to forecast future tax liabilities, and providing pre and post-deal services.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of leading complex M&A projects, coaching others, generating business through innovative ideas, and building strong internal and external relationships. The ability to excel under pressure and communicate persuasively is crucial.

The team encourages applications from individuals with familiarity with Tax M&A processes and the capability to work effectively in collaborative environments. Handling multiple projects concurrently is considered an asset.
