Part Time- Group Tax- Assistant Manager

Brand New Role - Part Time - In-house Tax

Due to continued growth our Client, a leading services company, are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager / Manager to join the Group Tax function based in Manchester City Centre.

You will be support Head of Tax with day-to-day tax compliance and tax accounting for all group companies including Corporation Tax, capital allowances and VAT. In addition, you will be required to liaise with HMRCR and advisors and support for any new projects from a tax perspective such as the provision of tax advice in relation to property acquisitions and disposals.

Ideally you will be

● ACA and/or CTA qualified
● Assistant Manager or above in practice or in-house tax experience
● Broad UK corporation tax background with experience of compliance and advisory work

This is a part time position ( 3 days ideally) but can offer flexibility on the hours, for example, 3 full days or 4 shorter days as well and a degree of remote working will be considered. The main office is Manchester, however offices in Cheshire will also be available for use.
