Clark Wood is currently working a leading Kent based firm who are looking for a Mixed Tax Manager / Senior Manager in their Sittingbourne office.

You will work closely with the senior management team, looking for opportunities to grow and develop the business; as well as having responsibility for a team of tax advisers.

It goes without saying that you should have strong tax technical skills, but you will also be commercially minded, driven and with a desire to succeed.

You should be able to advise across a wide range of tax issues, and specific experience of dealing with entrepreneurial SME, and OMB clients would be a distinct advantage.

You should have excellent report writing skills, and good attention to detail.

You should be able to come up with commercial tax-efficient solutions to clients’ problems and should be committed to high standards of client service.

Experience managing others is desirable, although not essential.

The successful candidate would likely demonstrate the potential to progress to Senior Manager within the next 2-4 years. Opportunities to become a future stakeholder in the business further down the line are available for the right candidate.

Our client in Sittingbourne is looking for the following skills;

Ideally CTA qualified but our client will consider an ACA / ACA / Qualified by Experienced candidate.

You will have proven experience as a tax adviser, ideally gained working in a mixed tax environment, (although private client, corporate and other tax specialists will also be considered).
