Exciting Opportunity: CTA qualified Private Client Specialist to work in a law firm - London

Are you a driven and experienced private client specialist eager to step into a pivotal role within a busy, international practice? We're on the lookout for a talented individual to join the London office of an international law firm and play an integral part in cross-border initiatives and transactions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trustees, and financial institutions.

The Role
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with Senior Associates, Partners, and directly with clients across EMEA and globally. You'll engage in high-value, complex, and wide-ranging matters such as:

* Advising internationally mobile clients, including foreign nationals and entrepreneurs, on planning structures and cross-border tax transactions.
* Building and maintaining relationships with an existing client base and developing new contacts.
* Collaborating with colleagues in global offices like Zurich, Hong Kong and New York.
* Engaging with other departments in the London office, including Litigation, Employee Benefits, and broader Tax teams, to deliver seamless client solutions.
* Actively contributing to internal and external speaking engagements and key conferences in the field.
* Taking ownership in business development and seeking opportunities to grow the client base.
* Providing guidance to junior lawyers and trainees, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

The Team
The Private Wealth Management team sits within the wider Tax practice, specialising in advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, trustees, and private banks on bespoke cross-border tax and trust matters. You'll be joining a team renowned for its strategic thinking, technical excellence, and ability to tackle the most complex international challenges.

Key Skills and Experience Required

To be eligible to apply, you must be CTA qualified and currently at Manager or Senior Manager level within a private client tax role. Moreover, you must be able to demonstrate:

* Strong experience in UK tax planning for UHNW individuals and their families, including resident non-domiciliaries.
* A solid track record in advising on international tax matters and complex planning structures.
* Exceptional technical skills and personal experience to excel in a client-facing role.
* Business development acumen and a proactive approach to forging lasting relationships.
* High work standards, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
* A commitment to learning and sharing knowledge in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you. This is more than just a job-it's an opportunity to make an impact in a globally connected, high-performing team that celebrates innovation and excellence.
