Your new role
Your role would be number two to the Partner in a fast-growing team at an exciting point in the firm's journey. This is a great opportunity for you to work with high-profile clients, lead on complex transactions, and contribute to the strategic growth of the wider tax team.
* Support the M&A Partner in leading enquiries and delivering innovative tax solutions
* Assist with tax due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, working closely with the corporate finance team
* Advise on pre-transaction structuring, demergers, restructuring, and inheritance tax (IHT) matters
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering sophisticated M&A tax advice while managing technical risk.
* Mentoring and developing others within the team
* Identifying opportunities to implement and develop technology solutions for compliance and advisory projects
* An interest in, or already experienced in, business development and networking across the region
What you'll need to succeed
* Have experience of managing complex tax projects and high-value client assignments
* Possess strong technical knowledge in M&A tax, risk management, and compliance
* Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals
* Have an interest in leading, motivating, and coaching junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm's growth strategy
