EMEA Tax Manager

Situated between Geneva and Lausanne, this is a market leading hi-tech manufacturing company has an opportunity for an experienced International Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join the EMEA Tax department headquarters.

The role reports to the EMEA Tax Director and manages a group of countries in the EMEA region. The role has a mix of reviewing the tax compliance and tax reporting of the Finance teams and working on tax projects such as cross border tax structuring, business transformations, providing operational tax advice to the business, transfer pricing, tax audits, M&A and restructuring advice. The role also has close involvement in treasury tax matters relating to cash flows.

The EMEA Tax Manager will lead projects from day one, so strong project management and communication skills are required. The role has been created with succession planning in mind, so the responsibilities are broad & challenging with a view to providing an interesting long term career for an ambitious tax professional.

You will need at least 7 years of international tax experience, ideally from a mix of in-house and Big 4. Experience of working in a US multinational, or any company with a principal model, would be beneficial. US GAAP or IFRS tax reporting experience is necessary. Fluency in English is essential, whilst other languages are advantageous.
