In-house Interim Role - Head of Tax - Manchester

Interim Head of Tax, 10-12 Month FTC - internationally recognised brand

As interim head of tax you will be supported by Group Treasury Director and will work closely wider Group Finance & Tax function.  You will oversee tax compliance & processes and risk management and as well as a varied range of projects which could include divestments / business integrations/ WHT Review and a TP project as well as ongoing tax governance matters. Providing support and guidance to the supporting the tax team with day to day queries.   A fantastic interim role for someone looking for the next challenge in a, fast moving and internationally recognised brand.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, and the successful candidate will have the enthusiasm and personality to continue to drive the group tax function during a period of change. Managing a number of key relationships with external advisors including HMRC, auditors and tax advisors.
Ideally you have wide UK & international tax experience, exposure to transfer pricing and M&A tax would also be desirable not essential

On offer is a great salary and benefits package and approx. 2 days a week in the offices in Manchester although can be flexible about this.
Although offered as a fixed term contract 10-12 months with the strong possibly of extending well beyond.
