Banking and Asset Finance & Leasing Senior Associate

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate to join our client's capital Markets Tax team, working across a range of areas but with a particular focus on Asset Finance & Leasing Tax ("AF&L") We are looking for high quality candidates, motivated by a desire to work within the sector and capable of dealing with both the flexible and technical demands that this brings.

Our client's Asset Finance & Leasing Tax group offers expert guidance to a diverse range of institutions, including banks, manufacturers, financial firms, private equity, and rolling stock leasing companies, while also serving as subject matter specialists for broader initiatives.

The Asset Finance &Leasing group supports our clients with a range of commercial and tax advisory services with a focus on transaction diligence and transaction structuring as well as on lease related tax advisory services

What your daily routine will be like:

* You will have the chance to work across the full range of clients and services, with the opportunity to work directly with partners and directors
* There is also the potential to work closely with other internal lines of service - Audit, Consulting, Deals and Risk - as well as the international network.
* You will be encouraged to develop your own client relationships, lead your own teams, innovate ways of working and drive new uses of technology.

Requirements for the role:

* Must possess a ACA or CTA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
* Ability to develop self and others
* Strong interest in the Asset Finance & Leasing, Credit or Infrastructure sectors
* Motivated individual with a desire for a permanent career in tax
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Both numerate and literate
* Confident with accounting concepts (ideally including tax accounting)
