I'm delighted to be working with a listed business who are currently looking to recruit an International Tax & Structuring Senior Manager. The role will report to the Group Head of Tax and will be based in their London headquarters.
Many duties of the role will be dictated by business needs and developments, but can be expected to include:
* M&A;
* Supporting other business-led initiatives;
* External and internal financing;
* Legal entity rationalisation;
* Tax authority audits and enquiries;
* Pillar 2;
* CFCs;
* Managing permanent establishment issues and flexible working policy matters;
* Cross-border payments, withholding tax, etc;
* Supporting tax implications of external contracts with suppliers etc
* Working closely with our tax reporting, transfer pricing and indirect tax/duty teams;
* Supporting half year and year end audits;
* Supporting the Group Head of Tax on the development and maintenance of Group tax strategy;
* Managing relevant adviser relationships, fees and budgets;
* Working closely with colleagues in Finance, Treasury, Legal, and operational areas.
Key competencies:
* The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 8-10 years of corporate tax experience;
* They will be ACA or CTA-qualified;
* They will have significant experience of advising on a variety of international jurisdictions and cross-border transactions;
* Big 4 training is not a requirement, but may be an advantage;
* Previous industry experience of working within a similar sector would be 'a nice to have';
* Being a self-starter, and the ability to communicate complex tax matters to a commercial audience, will be essential.
