European VAT Accountant interim VAT job requires a VAT Accountant or VAT Assistant Manager who has European VAT return preparation experience for this VAT interim job in the region of London.
The European VAT Accountant job is suitable also for an Assistant VAT Manager who has European VAT return preparation experience. Joining a VAT team, forming part of a wider tax team for this international business, the focus of the position is to ensure that the VAT compliance obligations for the company, across Europe, are adhered to. In order to achieve this there is a lot of liaising with the internal finance team and other business stakeholders, along with the company's external VAT advisers.
Duties will involve assisting in the preparation of the required European VAT returns, ECSL and Intrastat reports, and on a periodic basis to assist in reconciliations of different accounts.
To be considered for this role you will have VAT compliance and accounting experience and be able to self-sufficiently prepare European VAT returns. You will be able to start this role in January 2025 and commit to the 18 months duration.
