Transfer Pricing Director

As a key member of the Transfer Pricing team, you will play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality services to existing clients, particularly those within the financial services industry. In your role, you will not only help manage and deliver complex transfer pricing projects but also build your own client portfolio, helping to grow and shape the future of the business.

Key Requirements:

* Transfer Pricing Experience: Ideally you will have 8-10 years of transfer pricing experience in the UK, including experience in the financial services sector, especially within banking and capital markets.
* Client-Facing Role: This role will require you to work directly with clients from day one. You will be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a key contact for transfer pricing matters.
* Financial Transaction Experience (Bonus): While not essential, experience working on financial transaction transfer pricing projects is highly desirable and will set you apart.
* Qualifications: You should be ACA, ACCA, CTA, or CFA qualified, demonstrating your technical proficiency and deep understanding of tax, accounting, and transfer pricing principles.
* Leadership Skills: We are looking for someone with the ability to lead teams effectively. You will help in the growth and development of junior staff, sharing your knowledge, training, and mentoring them to advance in their careers.

What You Will Do:

* Deliver Transfer Pricing Projects: You will manage and execute transfer pricing projects for existing clients, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery. You will work with a range of clients, particularly those in the banking, capital markets, and financial services industries.
* Client Relationship Building: You will take ownership of client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to guide clients through the complex transfer pricing landscape. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to nurture and expand the firm's client base.
* Business Development: In addition to managing client relationships, you will have the opportunity to build your own client portfolio. You will work closely with leadership to identify new business opportunities, pitch for new work, and develop new client relationships.
* Team Leadership and Development: You will be responsible for mentoring and training junior team members. You'll help build a collaborative, high-performing team, supporting your colleagues in their professional development and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
* Project Management: This role requires excellent project management skills, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You'll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, all while ensuring client satisfaction and quality delivery.
* Commercial and Risk Awareness: As a senior professional in the team, you will be expected to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and risk management skills. You will need to assess the implications of transfer pricing decisions and ensure compliance with regulations, while considering the broader commercial and strategic objectives of the business.
