Mixed Tax Senior - Corporate Tax Bias- Macclesfield

Our client is an independent accountancy firm based in Macclesfield that focuses on providing a local firm service but with the skill set you would expect from a city centre practice. They are looking for a tax professional with experience of both corporate tax and personal tax issues for OMB’s and small groups to join their growing team. Day to day this will include:

• Developing client relationships with regular contact by phone, email and in person.
• Preparation, review and submission of corporate tax and personal tax returns. Will consider individuals with a corporate tax background looking to broaden their experience
• Opportunity to gain experience in advisory work, including research for tax planning e.g. R&D tax, transactions, capital allowance reviews and HMRC enquiries.
• Supervision and mentoring of more junior staff (dependent on experience).
• Managing queries from HMRC.
• Working with managers and partners in a friendly supportive environment.

A full time or a 4 day week appointment would be considered, particularly if the candidate is able to offer flexibility over busier periods. Applicants with professional qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACCA or those qualified by experience will also be considered.
