Due to a continued period of growth, this independent financial planning group is looking for a talented, qualified and driven individual to lead a new division within the business. As the Head of Private Client Tax you will be responsible for the design, delivery and execution of personal tax and legal compliance services and tax planning to existing clients of the group.

This is a fantastic, new opportunity for an ambitious private client tax specialist  looking for a Senior role to project lead the development and implementation of Private Client tax services in this new venture which will support the organisation to achieve its vision and strategic goals. You will be required to work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the business, including the Board, Operations, IT and Marketing during the design and implementation stage and then develop excellent working relationships with Financial Planners in the delivery of the service to clients. Main responsibilities:

To provide high calibre Private Client tax, trust and legal services to clients  including HNWs. 
Building strong relationships within the business to maximise new business opportunities.  
Ensure Financial Planners and their clients’ needs are satisfied compliantly and efficiently.
Qualifications, skills and experience

Chartered Accountant / Chartered Tax Advisor or qualified Private Client Tax Legal Professional
Experience of leading personal tax services including tax returns and tax planning to private clients; experience of looking after HNW clients. 
A proven track record providing high levels of service and advice
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise own workload
Strong business acumen with experience of leading a team.
Budget management and financial controls experience

The business fully supports hybrid working and have both working from home and flexible working policies. For this particular role, we would expect the candidate to be based at the Head Office in Cheltenham one or two days per week. Cheltenham is ideally located for candidates commuting from across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, and Bristol/Bath
