In-house Employment Tax Manager - London or Dublin / Hybrid

An exciting opportunity exists to join this long-standing financial institution. This role will see you join the finance team, working alongside two experienced Tax Directors. Your role will be focused on providing consultancy services internally to key stakeholders across all areas of employment tax. It will see you:

* Advising on the tax treatment of remuneration, expenses and benefits and ad hoc requests such as staff assignments, cross-border working and voluntary severance.
* Supporting on the employment tax aspects of projects/transactions including due diligence, guidance on legal documentation including tax warranties and indemnities, and provision of employment tax support for post-acquisition integrations
* Collaborating with the business to help it achieve its objectives whilst ensuring optimal tax outcomes
* Challenging the design and effectiveness of controls related to employment tax risks and working with the business to ensure enhancements are implemented effectively
* Negotiating with tax authorities on employment tax matters for the Group and managing Revenue interventions relating to employment taxes.

This role offers hybrid working and can be based in either London or Dublin. You will require solid and broad employment tax experience gained either in the profession or in-house. An ability to work autonomously on tasks with some support from more senior members will also be key as well as strong stakeholder management experience.
