As a VAT Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager, you will play a key role in delivering top-notch consultancy and compliance services. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate their VAT obligations, resolve disputes, implement practical and commercial solutions. Your insights and expertise will drive new business opportunities and support the growth of their VAT team.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with HMRC and clients to ensure accurate and timely VAT compliance.
* Provide clear, well-researched, and practical advice on VAT treatments.
* Resolve VAT disputes through technical research and negotiation.
* Collaborate with specialist VAT barristers for robust opinions.
* Manage a large client portfolio and mentor junior staff.
* Contribute to VAT marketing initiatives, tender proposals, and training sessions.
* Support VAT aspects of transaction services, audits, and restructuring projects.

Preferred Qualifications
* ACA/CA/CTA or equivalent (not essential).
* Background in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, or related fields.
