Our client, a leader in innovative software solutions is recruiting an experienced In-House VAT Advisor. The company focuses on streamlining and enhancing operations for businesses.
Role Overview:
The In-House VAT Advisor will provide expert VAT advice and support to internal teams, ensure compliance with VAT regulations, and optimize VAT positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide VAT advice and guidance to internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with domestic and international VAT regulations.
* Review and improve VAT processes.
* Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns.
* Develop VAT strategies to optimize positions.
* Monitor VAT legislation changes and update teams.
* Conduct VAT risk assessments.
* Collaborate with product and development teams.
* Deliver internal VAT training.
* Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
* Prepare VAT reports and presentations for management.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified or studying towards a tax qualification (CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Extensive VAT advisory experience, preferably in software or accountancy firms.
* Strong knowledge of VAT regulations.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in accountancy software and technology.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
