Role Overview: Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to cover a maternity leave position at our well-established clients company. The role is conveniently located near the M5 and A30, with ample car parking facilities and excellent public transport links from Exeter.
This role is a maternity cover, and will start from August 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis.
* Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
* Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in management accounting.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
