Senior Tax Manager - FTC - to £130k

Fixed term contract opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager to take responsibility for UK direct and indirect tax compliance management, UK advisory, and management or reporting process. The role holder will also lead on developing improvements for the year-end tax reporting system.

* Oversee Group Tax Reporting: Lead the comprehensive process for tax reporting across the Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Enhance Tax Reporting Systems and Processes: Play a pivotal role in projects aimed at improving and modernizing tax reporting mechanisms.
* Prepare for Pillar 2 Compliance: Lead initiatives to ensure readiness and compliance with upcoming Pillar 2 regulations.
* Manage UK HMRC Relationship: Maintain a strong and proactive relationship with HMRC, including organizing and participating in regular meetings to address and resolve ongoing tax matters.
* Supervise UK Corporate Tax Compliance Outsourcing: Oversee the arrangements for outsourcing UK corporate tax compliance to ensure efficiency and compliance.
* Coordinate Corporate Tax Filings: Manage the preparation and submission of various corporate tax filings, such as RDEC claims, DTTPs, and CT61s.
* Oversee UK VAT Filings: Direct the management and review of VAT filings in the UK, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Handle UK Tax Enquiries: Manage and respond to enquiries from HMRC regarding UK corporate tax and VAT matters.
* Provide UK Tax Advisory: Offer expert tax advice to Group business units and treasury teams on UK-specific tax issues, including matters related to dividend payments, financing, and corporate structuring.
