UK Tax Compliance and Reporting Lead

A global, renowned Fintech firm have a newly created opportunity for a UK Tax Compliance and Reporting lead to join their UK HQ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to play a key role in shaping the tax function.

As the UK Tax Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance for the organisation. This pivotal role requires a thorough understanding of UK tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. You will ensure that our tax practices adhere to the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of all UK tax returns
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation and regulations
• Manage the tax reporting process, including the calculation of deferred tax and preparation of tax disclosures for financial statements
• Lead and develop the tax compliance team, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct regular reviews of ta processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
• Manage risk and ensure appropriate controls are in place

Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified
• Extensive experience in UK tax compliance, ideally within a corporate environment
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Collaborative with a wider interest in Tax, ready and willing to push the Tax agenda across the wider business
• Adept in project management with good communication skills, especially when dealing with non-Tax personnel
