UK Tax Manager interim tax job requires an experienced UK Corporate Tax Manager for this 1 day per week in the office tax job, with 4 days to be worked from home.
Joining a PLC and reporting to the Tax Director, this role is to start in March and is for a 3 months period, possibly being extended to 4 months. The requirement is to back fill for the permanent post holder to move onto a project.
Key duties are varied in nature and will include:
* Oversee the compliance process, supporting a team member in the requirements.
* Tax forecasting requirements, and also to take a review of the process for any potential improvements.
* File the CIR returns and ensure they are correct.
* Support on any M&A activity by carrying out due-diligence and liaising with the Tax Director on recommendations.
* HMRC correspondence.
* Ad hoc queries from the business.
To be considered for the role it is key to have worked in a large corporate previously and to have a strong understanding of UK corporate tax covering the compliance and advisory aspects. You will be able to start this position in March and to commit to the full duration.
