Job Title: Virtualization Platform Engineer

Rate: £400 - £500 per day

Job Description:
As Virtualization Platform Engineer, you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining, improving and productizing existing and future Virtualization environments. This includes lifecycles, capacity and availability planning, and vulnerability remediation. Through collaboration within the team and with other towers, you will ensure these services are delivered and managed via an aligned, consistent, and well-maintained methodology.
You will play an important role in the Virtualization delivery and operations team consisting of system engineers in providing a world-class-efficient, highly available, well performing, and consistent virtualized hosting platform.
Responsibilities:
·Collaborate across geographic regions and businesses to align Virtualization service improvements
·Work across towers to facilitate delivery of the Virtualization Platform aligned to key principles and strategy of the infrastructure team
·Supporting the Virtualization Platform by ensuring alignment across key delivery functions, global coverage for deployment and operations, including maintenance windows
·Supporting business engagement and incident management as and when required
·Respond to Requests and Incidents in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to policies and procedures.
·Deliver project work on schedule and at the highest quality possible.

·Experience and familiarity with Virtualization products and solutions (VMWare, RHV, and Public Clouds)
·Ability to communicate across a broad breadth of business and stakeholders, and across all levels of business and technology
