Corporate Tax Director Opportunity (Partner Track Available)

The Tax Division provides VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Personal Tax, Global Mobility, and Employment Tax compliance and advisory services. They take pride in delivering personalised and professional solutions to clients.

As a Corporate Tax Director, the successful candidate will assume a pivotal role within the team. Their responsibilities will encompass managing corporate tax compliance work, offering expert advisory services on various corporate tax issues, and fostering client relationships. Additionally, they will work closely with audit teams as a tax specialist and contribute to the team's growth through business development activities.

This role offers significant growth prospects within the team, and promotion opportunities await ambitious candidates. Upon completion of probation, the Corporate Tax Director will become the primary client contact, responsible for nurturing existing relationships and developing new ones to support the team's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing deadlines and work allocation.
* Managing resources efficiently.
* Reviewing provisions and tax computations.
* Providing advisory services on corporate and business tax issues.
* Collaborating with specialists in other departments.
* Assisting with transactions, including restructuring and due diligence.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Engaging in business development activities.
* Managing billing and work in progress for clients.
* Developing and mentoring junior team members.
* Contributing to team strategy and performance monitoring.
* Actively participating in team and internal meetings.

In addition to the core responsibilities, Corporate Tax Directors may engage in special work or ad hoc assignments, such as tender proposals, M&A activities, staff training, resolution of tax queries, and leading marketing and business development initiatives.

The Corporate Tax Director will also play a crucial role in managing staff, providing mentorship to direct reports, and supporting their career development.
