We are currently working with a Big 4 Firm in Dublin, Ireland who are seeking to hire a number of Tax Technology Senior Managers who have extensive expertise within Direct Taxes.
This firm is in the process of restructuring their Tax Technology practice however they need leaders, experts and visionaries who can bring fresh thinking, new approaches and different perspectives to help build a practice that will solve the problems of the future.
This role would be ideal for anyone who can contribute to their strategy, business plans and developing their capabilities and people. This would include developing direct tax technology plans with goals, build and deployment strategies and performance measurements for clients, thinking commercially, focusing on understanding client issues and pain points, and assisting in developing cost-effective solutions across processes, people, data, and technology. An additional key element of the role includes manipulating and analysing client data using technology and designing insightful dashboards to present insights in an easy-to-understand and client friendly manner.
Our client is particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have a proven experience of interest self-development and independent learning with technology; experience of presenting to clients and senior external stakeholders. Also, a good understanding of direct tax compliance and direct tax reporting. Coding skills, SQL or knowledge of technology tools (MS Power Platforms, Alteryx or similar) and functional ERP experience would also be beneficial.
The ideal candidate would a preferably be ACA/CTA or other local equivalent qualifications with experience of coaching and developing people and managing large and complex projects.
