The Deals Tax team closely collaborates with the Deals practice to provide comprehensive tax guidance on a wide range of deals projects, including Business Recovery Services, Real Assets and Credit, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Operating within the broader Corporate Tax network, the team prioritises cross-specialty collaboration to foster innovation and drive success for clients worldwide.

The available role is situated within the Real Assets and Credit team, with a specific focus on Credit. The team specialises in advising funds and institutional investors on credit sector transactions, often involving complex cross-border structuring. The team members are characterised by their inquisitive and open-minded approach,

demonstrating a genuine passion for their work. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Overseeing and delivering tailored tax advice that addresses the evolving demands of a diverse deal portfolio.
* Assuming a pivotal role in cultivating and nurturing client relationships, as well as mentoring junior team members.
* Working closely with specialists across various domains and collaborating with other departments within PwC to ensure the best possible service delivery to clients.
* Actively participating in business development endeavours, contributing to the identification and exploration of opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
* Formulating strategies to tackle intricate technical challenges faced by clients.
* Contributing to the development of the team's technical expertise and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of prevailing business and economic issues.
* Collaborating closely with team members on an extensive array of deals.

The following skills and experience are essential for the role:

* Possession of a Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI).
* Demonstrated experience in successfully leading complex projects for key clients.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor others.
* Track record of generating business by effectively converting leads and generating new business concepts.
* Proficiency in building and leveraging internal and external relationships and networks.
* Excellent communication skills, particularly in negotiation and influencing stakeholders.
* Previous experience in managing and delivering multiple projects within specified deadlines.
