As an Associate Director within their Real Estate Tax team, you will:
* Collaborate with a high-performing team, comprising experienced professionals who possess deep industry knowledge. You will have the opportunity to work with prestigious clients and engage in challenging projects.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their career aspirations and fostering their growth within the firm.
* Engage with industry-leading clients, working on fascinating projects such as multi-jurisdictional transactions involving real estate and infrastructure. Recent projects have ranged from £60m to over £1bn. Our expanding client base offers significant opportunities for rapid career progression at all levels.
* Take ownership of your work, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit and leading client interactions, project delivery, and engagement with the Real Estate and broader Tax teams. You will receive support from Partners, Directors, and a capable and engaged team of tax colleagues.
To join the firm as an Associate Director you'll need to meet the following minimum criteria:
* ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent qualification.
* UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector.
* Experience in monitoring junior team members' work, providing coaching, and supporting their career development.
Ideally, you'll also possess experience in the UK Real Estate market and have demonstrable business development skills, including collaborative relationship-building with Partners and Directors on key accounts.
While not essential, the following skills will be advantageous. Don't worry if you don't tick every box - they will support your development along the way:
* Tax Services: Helping clients optimize tax strategies for property transactions while ensuring compliance with regulations.
* International Tax Planning: Providing expert advice and thorough due diligence for cross-border deals.
* Proactive Business Development: Actively engaging in and leading initiatives to foster growth and secure new opportunities.
* Tax Compliance Solutions: Guiding clients through the intricacies of tax regulations and assisting with ongoing tax obligations.
* Establishing Property Investment Funds: Assisting in the formation of property funds, including specialised UK Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
