As an Associate Director within the corporate tax team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base. Specialising in providing tax services to privately owned and private equity-backed companies, they support dynamic businesses experiencing rapid growth. The Associate Director will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate complex tax compliance obligations and provide valuable tax advisory support for their growth, restructuring, and succession planning needs.

Building strong relationships based on trust and reliability is at the core of their approach. By listening to clients' business and personal objectives, they provide tailored and tax-efficient solutions. The national tax practice also offers specialised services in areas such as corporate and multinational tax, innovation tax, employment taxes, VAT, and real estate, which can be leveraged to support clients' growth journeys.

Responsibilities: As an Associate Director, the successful candidate will:

* Provide expert tax advice on a wide range of issues and oversee various compliance and advisory projects
* Engage confidently with clients, addressing their queries effectively during meetings
* Cultivate trust and respect by consistently delivering high-quality, accurate tax advice within specified deadlines
* Lead client engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal utilisation of skills
* Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their career growth aspirations
* Offer innovative solutions to clients' tax challenges, taking a proactive approach and cross-selling services across the network
* Lead pitches and proposals, showcasing capabilities to clients and potential targets

Qualifications and Skills: To qualify for the Associate Director role, candidates should have:

* A professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience
* Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of diverse business clients
* Strong knowledge of corporate tax legislation in the respective country and familiarity with international tax concepts
* Experience in reviewing work and providing guidance in a tax environment
* Prior exposure to a professional services environment
* Proven track record in managing a significant portfolio of tax clients
* Business development experience, with a focus on building client relationships
* Eagerness to expand knowledge of the organization's services and capabilities
