Senior Tax Manager – International Advisory, Fully Remote

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a pure advisory lead role, focusing solely on international tax matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing tax advice and solutions to clients from various geographical regions. Responsibilities:
• Provide expert tax advice to clients from all corners of the world, developing and implementing tax strategies that comply with international tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.
• Review and analyse complex international tax structures, transactions, and contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities for tax optimisation.
• Conduct comprehensive research on international tax laws, regulations, and practices to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and objectives to deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and business development, to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies into overall business plans.
• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and best practices related to international tax advisory services.
• Conduct periodic training sessions for clients and internal teams to enhance their understanding of international tax matters and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the tax advisory practice.

Qualifications:
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in international tax advisory services, preferably in a professional services or consulting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of international tax laws, regulations and transfer pricing principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing tax advice to clients from diverse geographical regions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of tax professionals.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating exceptional client service and commitment.
