The Role: Working for a leading Chartered Financial Planning firm the Tax Senior/Planner will support the Tax team developing your own skills.

The Team: The in-house Tax Team provide tax advice and compliance for a wide range of High Net Worth individuals and trusts. The majority of the team’s work covers income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and pension planning tax advice, but they do also provide business services such as accounts and payroll.

The team is made up of highly qualified tax and accounting professionals, who have a wide range of skills and experience. They work closely with  financial planning teams to provide a completely integrated approach to all aspects of  clients’ financial affairs.

Ideally you will have some experience in Personal Tax and be looking to develop this.

You’ll be working closely with the team to support them with day-to day client work and administration including:

·  Liaising with HMRC and other third parties
·  Dealing with client queries
·  Collating client information for their tax returns
·  Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and subsequent planning
·  Packaging up and sending out tax returns to clients
·  Electronic filing of tax returns
