My client are currently on the market for a Tax Manager to join their growing internal tax function. This is an opportunity to join a large retailer offering quick internal progression, flexible hybrid working and a generous pay package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the tax compliance process, liaising closely with advisors on the preparation and submission of returns
- Reviewing computations from external advisors
- Helping the senior team grow the in-house function, ensuring that new members are supported thoroughly and that their professional goals are realised
- Assist on all tax related matters, including employment tax and VAT
- Provide input on a variety of ongoing financial projects.
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, especially within the UK
- Some exposure to employment tax and VAT is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills, ability to grow relationships across the business and externally
Package:
- Competitive Salary – up to £70,000
- Car allowance
- 28 days holiday
- Hybrid – 2 days in the office
