The Calgary office currently has an opportunity for a Manager to join our High Net Worth Tax team at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Our tax services are designed to help private companies and their owners undertake tax planning relevant to their circumstances. This includes corporate tax planning, Canadian and US estate planning, owner and executive compensation, reorganizations and tax planning for buying and selling businesses.
Job Description:
As a Manager specializing in the High Net Worth group, you will:
- Provide tax planning and compliance services to a variety of domestic and international energy clients in conjunction with our other specialty tax teams;
- Apply your industry knowledge and technical expertise to find tax-efficient solutions to our clients' energy business issues: and
- Network extensively within the industry to help identify growth opportunities for our practice.
Requirements:
Our expectations of you are to have:
- Minimum three years of prior experience in tax consulting and compliance in a professional services firm;
- Broad-based tax and related financial skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team of tax professionals;
- Highly motivated to be able to manage and direct processes, as well as communicate with clients and staff to deliver high quality tax services;
- Demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities; willingness to actively market services to existing and prospective clients.
Education:
- CA, CMA or CGA;
