Big 4 firm in Quebec and Edmonton require Managers to work within Canadian Corporate Tax
Their Canadian Corporate Tax group offers effective, innovative strategies to plan and manage taxes to help their clients attain optimum results and control compliance costs.
As a Tax Manager, you will advise Canadian multinational companies as well as emerging fast growth companies, both start-ups and middle market, on the Canadian tax implications of both their domestic and foreign operations to obtain an optimal tax minimization strategy.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, to be the main client service contact for your clients, to network extensively with existing and prospective clients, and to participate in proposals and other business development efforts. You will assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firm as well as have the opportunity to concentrate your efforts on corporate tax consulting, tax planning issues and providing industry knowledge and technical expertise to clients in a variety of industries such as: Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Industrial Products, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Technology Information Communication and Entertainment, and Life Sciences.
Experience required:
Strong technical tax background – 3-5 years experience advising emerging and/or Canadian multinational companies on their domestic tax strategy;
CA or other accounting/professional designation
Experience in corporate tax research
