Over the last 5 years our client has undergone huge growth. Across the markets in which the group operates this growth looks set to continue. A recent re-organisation of the group tax function coupled with a large increase in workload means that there is now the need to recruit 2 International Tax Managers.

The overall purpose of the International Tax Managers role will be the management of the Group's tax charge and cash tax for the worldwide tax affairs of the Group. Reporting into the Head of Tax and working as part of a team of 6 the individual will be expected to be the specialist on the tax affairs of his / her geographical area and must be capable of leading initiatives across the business. More specifically the successful candidates will be required to:

Identify and implement strategies to reduce tax cost and cash tax. This will include:

· Maintain understanding of local tax legislation in countries of responsibility

· Review subsidiary company tax positions

· Understand new business proposals

· Meet with local tax advisors and finance teams to ensure that effective local tax rate is managed

· Make and implement proposals for tax savings or exposures management

· Acquisition structuring and group structuring.

Additionally you will be required to support business units (ensuring business unit finance directors and staff understand their tax positions and keep group tax informed), monitor and ensure compliance (through review of tax returns and a thorough understanding of their relation to the accounts) as well as other ad hoc project work for example dividend planning.

You will be ACA / CTA qualified with 5 years pqe in tax. You will have a sound understanding of all aspects of UK tax and comprehensive international structuring experience. A high degree of numeracy is essential.
