Recent growth of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Edmonton Tax Practice has created an immediate need for an Associate.
The Edmonton Tax Practice:
Our tax specialties include corporate reorganizations, a full rang of tax and succession planning services for high net-worth individuals, international tax, US tax, Indirect Tax and International Assignment Solutions (expatriate tax).
As a Tax Associate, you will:
- Assist with the research of tax issues and prepare the supporting documentation, including reports, schedules, etc.;
- Assist with the completion of various US tax forms and returns; and
- Handle the administrative aspects of processing such forms and returns.
Associate Profile:
- Post-secondary accounting diploma or a minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role;
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Word and Excel;
- Willing to learn and become proficient with US tax return and research software;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective listening skills;
- Mature self-starter who takes ownership and assumes responsibility for tasks/projects;
- Detail-oriented, accurate and enthusiastic about the work – which can be both routine and non-routine;
- Contributes positively to a team environment, but able to work independently when required; and
- Demonstrates flexibility and an ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures.
- Experience in a professional services firm environment would be an asset, but not a requirement.
